CAHA Parent Booster Club

All parents/guardians of active enrolled players of CAHA Travel Hockey are
members of the CAHA Booster Club Organization. Our purpose is to
support the promotion and development of youth hockey at Center Ice, and
providing a safe and fun environment for youth hockey with the players
benefit and interest in mind.

The CAHA Booster club is responsible for fundraising and sponsorship
activities, support of activities to enhance promotion of youth hockey at
Center Ice, providing CAHA youth with a fun, competitive hockey team
experience, and support of the CAHA Foundation and Hockey director with
all hockey activities at center ice.

The Booster Club is managed by an elected Board of Directors which
meets a minimum of once every month during hockey season from
September until April. All Board meetings are open to all parents and
coaches of CAHA hockey. The current Board positions are:

President - Kyle Borgmann (kyleborgmann@gmail.com)
Treasurer - Kendra Ward (kendra.ward33@yahoo.com)
Secretary - Deb Erzen (deb.erzen@gmail.com)
IT Website Chair - Jessica Moreland (jmoreland@soundcom.net)

In addition to the elected positions, there are representatives of each team
(one per team) who sit on the board to represent the interests of each

travel team. Elections for Board Positions for the 2017-2018 hockey
season will be held on August 1, 2017. Each family will have two votes for
the elected board positions. Nominations for board positions will be taken
starting in July.

The Booster Club organizes two primary fund raisers for CAHA for the
2017-2018 season. The first fundraiser is a Pick 3 lotto fundraiser held in
December, and the second fundraiser is a reverse raffle fundraiser held in
early February. See attached flyers for more information about each
fundraiser. The funds raised through these efforts supports the hockey
organization with purchases of equipment for team use, offsetting dues for
tournament costs, payment of head coaches USA hockey registration fees,
purchase of coaches jackets, and other costs in support of CAHA youth
hockey as decided by the board.

We encourage all families to take active participation in the CAHA booster
board and the annual fundraiser activities. Support of the parents is needed
to ensure the continued success of the CAHA youth hockey organization
and to provide the best possible experience for the players and coaches of
CAHA hockey. If you are interested in helping out either as part of the
board or as a parent volunteer, contact any of the current board members
for more information. We are looking forward to a great 2017-2018 hockey
season!
